Baby Shower!

Wow, where has July gone!  It is certainly our busy time of year.  For us personally we've hosted a baby shower and we're counting down the days before our 2nd grandchild arrives (due September 10).  In the meantime, blending the best of my worlds  has been pretty amazing and a lot of fun.

Towel Cakes made fun, useful and unique thank you gifts!

I've featured the towel cakes in a previous post when I first saw it from one of our preferred suppliers. As always, we like to test many items for ourselves and this one was a definite keeper!

We made use of blooming hydrangeas from the garden and sprinkled the table in pink confetti.

Great party planners, an afternoon high tea theme with a touch of 'spa and relaxation'.  We had a room with tranquil music and candles and a massage therapist - and many of the guests took advantage of the 15 - 20 minutes each of luxury.  Nice touch!  Everyone enjoyed and had a grand time!
